China is now the second-largest consumer of aluminum foil after the US, but its per capita consumption of aluminum foil is only 0.17kg, one-tenth to one-twentieth of that in developing regions. In this sense, there is a huge opportunity for the Chinese aluminum foil market. In the early days, Chinese aluminum was mainly used for military purposes, and there was very little demand for it. After the 1980s, aluminum foil developed into civil products. After 1995, the market of cable foil, air conditioner foil and cigarette foil entered a period of rapid growth, and the aluminum foil industry in China realized rapid development.
